The Department of Art, Art History & Design and the Office of Digital Learning are pleased to announce a lecture by visiting designer Uday Gajendar, Thursday, February 18, at 6:00 p.m. in 226 West Lake Hall.
Mr. Gajendar is a catalyst for design-driven innovation, defining next-generation concepts & coaching start-ups on UX fundamentals. Uday’s specialities include creating visionary concepts for new business/revenue models, leading "3-in-a-box" design collaborations with engineering & product, and shaping a progressive design culture.
Uday has ~15 years of versatile design experiences, from enterprise to consumer, desktop to mobile, and beyond. Uday constantly pushes critical thinking beyond the pixels. He also taught Design Fundamentals at San Jose State University and served as a Stanford d.school executive coach. Uday routinely publishes & speaks internationally, on various topics for SxSW, UX Australia, IxDA, IDSA, and others. Mr. Gajendar is based in Silicon Valley and holds a MDesign in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Michigan.
