In the second year of generative AI democratisation, we are starting to see promising implementations of this technology into educational solutions. In this session, we will demonstrate a few recent examples from my professional and academic work, and discuss the technological and pedagogical assumptions behind them. Among others, we will review teaching and learning assistants, scenario-based practice of future skills, AI-enabled feedback in the virtual classroom, and a content generation toolkit for teachers. We will also discuss the challenges faced when developing such tools responsibly, such as ensuring student data privacy, maintaining institutional compliance, and adhering to AI regulations.
