The goal of the AI Faculty & Student Summit is to:
- Build mutual trust between faculty and students around the evolving role of AI in education.
- Clarify assumptions about the purpose and appropriate use of AI in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Understand what’s working and what’s not from both faculty and student perspectives, and explore the “why” behind those perceptions.
- Reflect on the meaning of a Notre Dame degree in an AI-driven world—how AI may strengthen or challenge that mission.
ND Learning is looking for 30-50 students to participate, particularly in the fields of Engineering, Marketing, Accounting, FTT, Design and Psychology. Those in the CDT minor might be particularly poised to participate.
Those interested in participating should complete this form by Friday, October 17. A formal invitation will follow for those selected to participate.
