With support from Sisters First Productions, the University of Notre Dame's Department of Film, Television, & Theater, together with the Minor in Data Science, announce an initiative that seeks to understand the role of artificial intelligence in the cultivation of film and television content. The partnership is particularly interested in the conditions that lead to the development of "female empowered content." It will support undergraduate work and internships, capstone research experiences, and a campus lecture series on the role of algorithms in entertainment, and run from January 1, 2020 until June 2021.
